I have feelings about how the perception of “dirt and grit” alters the perception of certain types of labor ok. There’s nothing inherently more difficult about carrying heavy loads all day vs talking to annoying people all day. We r both working class and broke lol
Biggest Lie is acting like manual labor is Harder than customer service/food prep. Maybe its because i genuinely need hard physical labor to thrive and i hate masking my emotions but im quite sure your macho logging job would be far more comfortable than being glared at and forced to interact with unhinged people in a zoo animal type situation while handling burning liquids for 8 hours straight
